How to Capture Expression Pt 1 -- Characteristics of Happiness
Making an angry face happy is a little more than just turning a smile upside down. In this video I will show you how to change the expression of your carving from angry to happy. Learning outcomes include understanding how the eyes, brow, chin and cheeks change with given a happy countenance and how to apply those changes to wood.
TOOLS:
If you do not have the same tools, remember you do not have to have the exact same sizes-- just within the same size range. For example a #4 25mm can be replaced with a #2 or #3 in a similar width. I often change out my tools per video, so be sure to pay attention to the profiles I mention in the videos.
