Multiple petals require some familiarity with undercuts and stopcuts. This was a fun little project. I love adding these simple little dogwood-type flowers to larger portrait carvings to create whimsical characters.
Cottonwood bark is the medium for this project, but Basswood, Butternut, Birch, or Mahogany can also be used.
